Yesterday I decided to fix the left turn signal, the front driver side light wasn’t working. I pulled the steering wheel with a harmonic balancer puller and removed a few screws to get to the switch.
Luckily it was just a few copper bands that needed to be tweaked after so many years, after a little experimenting I had the lights fixed. As a bonus I also tightened the blinker control arm so it doesn’t have play anymore.
I also put a spring that had no business being unsprung back onto it’s groove on my front drum. I found that I need to get a jack and tire iron, my bumper jack (HA!) is missing the rubber needed to rest on the chrome.
Next, exhaust manifold gaskets, windshield washer pump rebuild, windshield wiper alignment, driver side lower hinge spring, Fuel door bumper, power steering gearbox replacement (3-hole). Oh that power steering gearbox…
